忙しい時ほど行きたくなるのがお墓参り。

お墓参りに理由はいらないと思いますが、「時間が足らない」が続くと、なぜか行きたくてムズムズします。^_^

私には家族のお墓だけでなく、人生で大きなご縁をいただいた方のお墓もあります。

お墓の前にいる時間は数分。

それだけで心が落ち着き、あらためて感謝の気持ちが湧いてきます。

今の自分があるのは、多くの人とのご縁があったから。

忙しい時ほど、そのことを思い出したくなるのかもしれません。

Why Do I Visit Graves?

The busier life gets, the more I feel like visiting a cemetery.

I don’t think there has to be a reason to visit a grave. But when my days are filled with “not enough time,” I find myself wanting to go more than ever. ^_^

There are graves of my family members, of course. There are also the graves of people who had a profound influence on my life.

I spend only a few minutes standing there.

Yet those few minutes bring me a sense of peace and remind me how grateful I am.

The person I am today exists because of the people I have met and the connections I have been blessed with.

Maybe that’s why, when life gets especially busy, I feel the need to remember those connections.
