昨日21日夕方、某サーバー会社から予防的な措置として管理画面へのアクセスを停止という配信を見て、その後各社の対応を観察していましたが、夜にはニュースになってましたね。

脆弱性を発見したのはAIのチカラ。

これまで専門家が何か月もかけていたとされる脆弱性の調査や攻撃手法の検証を、AIを活用した研究チームがわずか1週間ほどで進めたというのですから、めちゃくちゃ興奮しました^_^

そして、悪意あるハッカーも同じことができるんですよね。

今回の事件からもたくさんの学びがありました。

It felt like I was watching a movie unfold in real time.

On the evening of October 21, I saw an announcement from a web hosting company saying that it was temporarily suspending access to its control panel as a precautionary measure.

I continued watching how other companies responded, and by that night, the situation had made the news.

What discovered the vulnerability? The power of AI.

Security research and exploit testing that would previously have taken teams of experts months were reportedly completed in just about a week by a research team using AI.

I was incredibly excited by that! ^_^

And of course, malicious hackers can use the very same technology.

I learned so much from this incident.
