近所の子供たちとのキャンプ。大阪府立青少年海洋センターで楽しい時間を過ごしてきました。
一年振りに会う男の子もいてましたがすぐに馴染み、太陽がいっぱいの海ではしゃぐ子供たち。
５７のおっさんを『よっちゃん』と友達のように呼んで、一緒に遊んでくれました。

子どもたちにいろんなことを教わり、少し成長できたと感じています。

僕が子どもたちに伝えたことの一つを紹介します。

キャンプ場を含む屋外でゴキブリが出てきても絶対に殺すな。
屋外はゴキブリの家。人間に都合で生き物を殺すな。
見た目が悪いから、気持ち悪いからという理由で区別して、ゴキブリを殺すな。

すごく納得してくれて他の友達にアウトプットしてました。子どもすごいです。

僕は規則を破って大人に怒られるという予測通りのハプニングもありましたが、就寝時間は守り子どもたちと夢でも特別な時間を過ごせました。

Camping with the children’s club

Camping with neighborhood children. We had a wonderful time at the Osaka Prefectural Youth Marine Center.
There was a boy I hadn’t seen in a year, but we quickly became friends, and the children played happily in the sunny sea.
They called me, a 57-year-old man, “Yochan” like a friend and played with me.

I learned many things from the children and feel that I have grown a little.

I would like to share one of the things I taught the children.

Even if you see cockroaches at a campsite or other outdoor location, never kill them.
The outdoors is the home of cockroaches. Don’t kill creatures just because it’s convenient for humans.
Don’t kill cockroaches just because they look ugly or disgusting.

They understood very well and shared their insights with their friends. Children are amazing.

As expected, there were some incidents where I broke the rules and got scolded by the adults, but I was able to stick to the bedtime and spend a special time with the children, even in my dreams.
