The top article on the front page of this morning’s Yomiuri Shimbun pointed out the inadequate response to the enforcement of the Personal Information Protection Law. In the sentence, I feared the arrival of an anonymous society and
He lamented that this would be the “Personal Information Overprotection Act” and said that the bill would need to be reviewed. It was the first time in a long time that I felt a sigh of relief.

The National Association of Surveyors (a national organization of the survey industry) asked me to write an article for the publication of their bulletin.
I just wrote the manuscript yesterday, and here is today’s newspaper article. So, I’ve decided to cut corners and publish the manuscript today.

The environment surrounding the research industry

Has there ever been such a difficult environment for the research industry? The economic environment since the bursting of the bubble economy is also a factor.
Distrust of the industry due to the proliferation of rogue detective agencies, the heightened awareness of human rights and privacy, the proliferation of individualism, the issue of family registration and the enforcement of the Personal Information Protection Law.
I am amazed at how they are able to continue their research business in such a difficult environment. The most problematic of these is the fact that the
It’s called the “Personal Information Protection Act”. To put this law simply, in the information society with the spread of computers, the
This was done because of the need to legislate the issue of mass leakage of personal information. Accordingly, the persons subject to the mandatory provisions of this Act shall be
A “personal information database, etc.” that is systematically organized to enable the retrieval of more than 5,000 pieces of personal information using computers, etc.
(Personal Information Handling Business Operator). Nonetheless, in general.
Many of them interpreted the law as saying, “You can’t speak or take personal information without your consent.
Even housewives, who are not subject to the law at all, say things like, “I can’t tell you this because it’s personal information.
This is even more so when it comes to companies, and they even preach to you, “Don’t you know that such things about individuals are forbidden by law…
It’s too hard to do. We do a lot of hiring work, and about 70% of it is employment research. Moreover, the majority of the survey was conducted at the time of mid-career hiring.
Confirmation of the history submitted by the applicant is a major factor. However, since the enforcement of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information in April this year, many companies have been
He stopped even responding to this background check. The answer comes back as if he’s holding his nose with a tree: “You can’t tell me any personal information. Therefore, the
The investigators have to take different approaches to their stories. The result is that it takes twice as long, and it’s
It’s a bit of an inarticulate report. The client was unhappy, saying, “It takes a long time, but the content is lonely…
In particular, government agencies and major corporations are so nervous about leaking personal information that they have taken the stance that they can’t talk about people at all.
If it was really a law that regulated that much, maybe we wouldn’t be able to have the social life we have now. Eighty percent of conversations between people are about people.
I think that more than 90% of women’s favorite topics, such as the well end meeting, are related to people. From a retired senior.
If you ask me where he is now, I can’t help but say, “No, that’s personal information. There’s no such thing as a law.
Corporations are all about nothingness, selfishness, and avoiding any mention of personal information in the name of privacy. The law is designed to ensure that human beings can live a humane social life.
It is not designed to create an awkward society, but to decide what must be protected at a minimum.
These days, however, Japanese people seem to have lost the ability to think and make their own decisions.
You can’t help it, but it seems to have become a manualized person who listens to it to begin with. There’s no question about it when you’re told, “Don’t give out your personal information.
He may have said, “Hi, I understand. Thus, Japan is going to become a paradise for cheaters, a nation that lies all the time, and in turn, a criminal nation.
From now on, the number of graduates of Tokyo University and Kyoto University will double and triple the actual number of graduates, because no one will be able to check their educational and professional backgrounds as much as they want.
Ex-police officers and finance bureaucrats will be everywhere, and we won’t know what’s real and what’s not…. Because…
Personal information can’t be taken without the consent of the person, and apparently it’s not allowed to examine it…

I got up at 5:30 this morning (even). I am now resurrected with strength, courage and conviction…
(a very wake-up call) and leave the bed with a grateful look on their faces. He then stood on tiptoe and headed to the washroom.
After going to the mirror and making a definitive suggestion, wash your face with cold water, brush your teeth, and take a bath in cold water. He is a very good member of the Heavenly Wind…
A bear gazemi is cawing at the end of the day as we head for Narita-san Myoo-in, which is located just east of our house. In the midst of all this, we had a breathing exercise, a unified exercise, and a
After doing positive exercises, the participants enter the main hall and sit with Fudo Myoo for about 20 minutes to practice Ansei Daza (Tenpusan style zazen). When you walk out of the main hall, there are 5-60 elderly people.
The average age of the group was about 70. What’s that? As soon as I watched it with curiosity, I understood that it was a radio gymnastics group.
In no time at all, a cheerful radio gymnastics song could be heard from the portable radio I brought with me. What a crisp morning….
I decided to join the group and start gymnastics. After the first, it was the second… the second gymnastics I hadn’t done in decades.
I moved my body as I remembered it. It was indeed a refreshing morning.

It would be nice to have a morning like this every day, but it doesn’t usually work out that way. The “mind-body unification path” taught by Master Tianfeng is found in the daily practice.
It even depends on how you incorporate the teachings into your daily life and how you do it. I still have a lot of work to do, but I’m sure I’ll be using it in this blog in the future
I’m going to try to write a systematic account of one of the teachings of Master Tenpou. Please look forward to it.

The special summer training session of the Kori Tenpukai was held for three days on July 22, 23, and 24. Chiba, Tokyo, Saitama, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Japan
Many enthusiastic members from Kochi, Hiroshima, Shimane and other regions gathered. For three days in the heat, there was no air conditioner, of course, and the room was tatami mats and
Outside, it is in the midst of the rich nature of the lawn. Boys wear only shorts, bare feet and upper body, while girls are uniformly wearing a jacket but bare feet are the same.
There are about 50 men and women in such a style, so it might be a strange atmosphere from the outside… They range in age from children to senior citizens over 90 years old.
The occupations are completely different, some are university professors, some are unemployed. Anyway, it doesn’t matter what social status or honor you have at all, just that you resonate with the teachings of Dr. Tianfeng.
It is a group of people who try to get even a little closer to True Man. Therefore, there is no rivalry with each other, and no matter the age, work, or area, everyone is able to open up immediately.
Therefore, the chi naturally becomes fuller. The temperature in the room is about 37 degrees Celsius, but no one calls it “hot” and I don’t feel so hot.
It’s strange to think that he could be in his room by himself in less than half an hour.
The curriculum has not changed in 34 years (Kori Tenpukai).
We learn and practice the same things every year, but the way we feel is different every year. I’ve been doing this for about 14 years now, and every year I learn something new.
I’ve felt a lot of things this year in particular. Anyway, it was a very fulfilling three days. I’m full of energy.
I’m going to be more energetic this week, working and playing than any other week…

Today, if you step out of the office, the Tenjin Festival is in full swing. From now on, I’ll be walking along Okawabata and heading home through the crowds like a child of potatoes being washed.
I hope I’m not getting sidetracked…

Saturday, Sunday, Monday and three consecutive holidays, but at my age, I don’t get too excited. So, I played golf with my friends on Saturday, as usual.
I started early in the morning and didn’t mind the heat so much, but the back nine was rattled by the fierce heat and fatigue, which is the usual pattern.
On the way home, I went to a super public bath and got sweaty and went home. The next day was the Sunday Gyoshu meeting of the Tenpukai.
We were very busy this time because we had a special summer training session in five days. Nevertheless, by 3:00 p.m., we had finished most of the preparations and were ready for the day of the event.

On Monday, I decided to go out with my wife for the first time in a long time. As a matter of fact, since last spring, I have been visiting 13 Buddhist temples in Nara Prefecture (there are many national treasure statues of Buddha).
I made a plan to visit the shrine and went out in my spare time. Because I couldn’t take that time for the last three months, this time I decided to go around with a lot of enthusiasm.
We left our home just after 8:00. The first temple was Shin-Yakushiji Temple, which was very simple. However, the Buddha statues from the Tempyo period are amazing.
I was amazed at how the expression of the image changed greatly depending on the position of the viewer. Next is Nagatakeji Temple in Tenri.
It seems that the stone Buddha is well known here, but we had a long visit to Jizo-san on the way down. Finally, we didn’t go all the way up, we went all the way down.
(It was hot anyway). Then, we went to Sakurai City. After lunch, we went to Abe Monju-in Temple. This temple is said to be the birthplace of Seimei Abe.
It seems that they are getting on the Yin-Yang-Do boom and putting a lot of effort into it. In particular, I was surprised to see that they were soliciting donations of stone lanterns for 500,000 yen. Next is Obusa Kannonji Temple in Kashihara City.
This was a relatively small temple located in a dense residential area of the village, and it was in the middle of the Wind Bell Festival. The wind chimes hung in the precincts of the temple
It plays a cool tone in the midst of the midsummer. The atmosphere was indescribable, though it seemed to be even more so when it was evening and night.
It didn’t take long before I was on my way home. I was able to visit the temple smoothly and happily for the last day of the consecutive holidays without the traffic jam that I expected.
It was a refreshing day as usual.

I’m on a business trip to Tokyo tomorrow, returning home on Thursday night, and the next day I’ll be at the special summer training session of the Tenpukai for three days. It’s going to be a fulfilling week.

Three months have passed since the Personal Information Protection Law was enacted. Perhaps because of the propaganda of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the mass media, or perhaps because it reflects the age of information, the
It’s brilliantly well known. But there’s something wrong…
The truth of the matter is that most people have never read or seen the text of the Protection Act. However, you can’t release personal information without the consent of the person in question.
He seems to be expanding his interpretation to say no to taking it or talking about it. If it is really such a law, social life will be unpleasant.
You can’t exchange information with your classmates or talk about your colleagues.
Perhaps 80% of the conversations in daily life are about individuals and people…
I’m not going to be able to talk about it until I’ve got it all figured out verbatim. Therefore, the only way to comply with this law is to live alone on a deserted island.
There’s no way it’s a stupid law, but when you ask about people… “No, that’s a little personal information…
There are a lot of ladies and fathers who say, “I’m going to do this. Some of them may say, “You don’t know that the Personal Information Protection Act has been enacted…
I also met a senior official who started to preach to me. It’s like an idiot to push back with “What are you…”, so I said, “Oh, really?
It is becoming a pathetic and decadent society.

The law is an attempt to keep the legal system in place so that it does not interfere with the normal life of a normal person.
It seems to me that the laws are increasing so much that it is getting harder and harder for ordinary people to live a normal life.
If you are going to insist on human rights, I would like you to think more seriously about what human rights are.

If human rights are to be truly protected, I would like to see at least the principle of disclosure of residency cards be properly enforced… Such as myself, my name, my address, my
There’s no hindrance to anyone knowing your phone number or anything else. ‘No, that being said, there are those who do bad things…’
It’s true that it can be abused, but it’s the abuser’s fault, and we should just crack down on the bad guys by law. “There’s something that might be going on…
If we cracked down on everything with the logic of “I don’t know, I don’t know”, it would probably lead to an awkward and uninhabitable society that would surprise Hitler.

I don’t think I have enough words, but this is all I have to say.
