弊社ではお盆を境に前段、後段に分けてお互い調整しながら５日間ほどの夏休みを取ることにしている。今年私は後段組に属し、
１４,１５,１６日と２泊３日の北海道旅行に出かけたた。今までは出身地の隠岐ノ島に家族皆で帰る事が普通であったが、今年は次女
（隠岐が一番好きな子）が都合で帰れないため、少し抵抗があり、急遽北海道旅行を計画したと云うわけである。

コースは、伊丹→千歳→夕張（泊)→富良野→旭山動物園→キロロリゾート（泊）→小樽→千歳→関空。
可也の強行軍ではあったが大阪の喧騒を忘れての３日間は快適であった。中でも印象に残ったのが夕張。過疎の街というよりも死の街に近い感じ。
建物から何から全てがさびれている、しかし、炭鉱で賑った昔をどこと無く偲ばせるものがあり、独特の雰囲気をかもし出していた。何故か、
西部劇の一シーン（廃墟と化した町に砂埃がまう風景）が思い出された。今ひとつは、「幸せの黄色いハンカチ」。
私の大好きな映画の一つであるが、何と、夕張の街に入るやいなや、やたらと家の前に竿にさした黄色いハンカチが目につく。
４?５軒に１軒は黄色いハンカチを出している。あれでは夕張の亭主族は真っ直ぐに家に帰らない訳にはいかないだろう・・・。それにしても、
寂寥感と幸せ感が入り混じった不思議な雰囲気の町であった。そして、翌日は富良野。「北の国から」のイメージとは少し違ったが、
それにしても素晴らしい風景であった。北海道ならではの風景を眼にしながら着いた所が、かの有名な旭山動物園。ペンギン館、アザラシ館、
白くま館は長蛇の列。しかし、ここまで来たからには観ないわけに行かない。炎天下の中で我慢の一時であった。想像していた程では無かったが、
それでも至るところに観る人を喜ばせる工夫がなされており、小さな動物園ではあったが運営する人の心が伝わってくる場であった。
動物園に限らず、どんな仕事でも相手の立場に立って物を考え、それを実際の経営に生かして行く事の大切さ、
弊社に於いては常に依頼者の立場に立って調査し報告しなければならない・・との気持ちにさせられた、教訓的な場でもあった。
そして約３時間かけてキロロリゾートへ。翌日は朝８時の出発で小樽へ。私の頭の中では、「小樽と云えば裕次郎、裕次郎と云えば小樽」、
そんなイメージで裕次郎記念館とニシン御殿を楽しみにしていたが、現地で４０分程しか時間が取れず、何れも拝観できず残念であった。
１２時千歳発の飛行機で関空へ、飛び立ってまもなくした時、イヤホンでラジオを聞いていた妻が「お父さん大変・・・、
宮城で震度５強の地震だって・・・、」。妻は青春の一時代を仙台で過ごしており、宮城県には友達が沢山いるのだ、、。
それにしても空の上ではどうしようもない。予定通りＰＭ２時過ぎに関空着。４時過ぎに自宅へ無事帰還した。

３日間のんびりと英気を養った。今日から再度気持ちを引き締め仕事にいそしむ事にする。
そんな気持ちで張り切って出勤したが世間は未だ殆どお盆休みなのか、電話一本鳴らず、少し拍子抜けした感じである。

We have decided to take a five-day summer vacation by dividing them into two groups around the Obon Festival, one for the first and the other for the second. This year I belong to the Shodan group.
I went on a trip to Hokkaido for two nights and three days on the 14th, 15th and 16th. Until now, it was usual for the whole family to go back to their hometown, Oki-no-jima, but this year, my second daughter
He was a little reluctant to go back to Hokkaido because he couldn’t come back for his own reasons, so he planned a trip to Hokkaido in a hurry.

The course is Itami → Chitose → Yubari (overnight) → Furano → Asahiyama Zoo → Kiroro Resort (overnight) → Otaru → Chitose → Kansai International Airport.
The three days of forgetting the hustle and bustle of Osaka were comfortable though it was a pretty strong army. The one that left a lasting impression on me was Yubari. It feels more like a city of death than a depopulated city.
Everything was deserted from the building, but there was something reminiscent of the old days when the mines were crowded with people, creating a unique atmosphere. For some reason.
It reminded me of a scene from a western (the dusty landscape of a ruined town). The current one is “The Yellow Handkerchief of Happiness”.
As soon as I entered Yubari town, I noticed a yellow handkerchief on a pole in front of my house, which is one of my favorite movies.
One out of every four or five houses has a yellow handkerchief out. In that case, the husband and wife of Yubari would not be able to go straight back home… Nonetheless.
It was a town with a strange atmosphere where a sense of loneliness and happiness were mixed together. And the next day was in Furano. It’s a little different from the image of “From the North Country,
Nevertheless, it was a wonderful scenery. We arrived at the famous Asahiyama Zoo with a view of Hokkaido’s unique scenery. Penguin Pavilion, Seal Pavilion.
There was a long line at the Shirokuma Museum. However, since we’ve come this far, we can’t afford not to watch it. It was a moment of patience under the blazing sun. Not as much as I’d imagined, though.
Even so, there were many ingenious ways to make visitors happy, and even though it was a small zoo, it was a place where you could feel the heart of the people who run it.
Not only in zoos, but in any job, it is important to think from the other person’s point of view and apply it to actual management.
We must always investigate and report from the client’s point of view, and it was a lesson learned for us.
It took about three hours to get to the Kilolo Resort. The next day we left for Otaru at 8:00am. In my mind, the word “Otaru” means Yujiro and “Otaru” means Otaru.
I was looking forward to visit Yujiro Memorial Hall and Herring Goten with such an image, but I was disappointed that I could not visit either of them because I could only take about 40 minutes at the site.
Shortly after we took off, my wife, who was listening to the radio through her earphones, said, “Father, you’re in trouble…
I heard an earthquake of magnitude 5 in Miyagi…,” he said. My wife spent her youth in Sendai, and I have many friends in Miyagi Prefecture…
Nevertheless, there’s nothing I can do about it in the sky. I arrived at Kansai airport at 2:00 p.m. as scheduled and returned home safely at 4:00 p.m.

I spent three days relaxing and cultivating my spirit. From today, I’m going to get my mind back on the job.
I went to work with such a feeling in my heart, but I didn’t get a single phone call as it was still almost Obon vacation, so I felt a little disappointed.

今朝は５時半起床（偶々）。寝床の中での運動と一人按摩を行い、「甦りの誦句」（我は今力と勇気と信念とを持って甦り・・・
で始まる非常に目覚めの良い誦句である）を暗誦しながら寝床を離れ、感謝念を持って布団をあげる。その後つま先立ちで洗面所に向かい、
鏡に向かい断定暗示を行った後冷水で洗顔、歯磨きの後、風呂場で冷水を浴びる。ウン中々優秀な天風会員である・・・。
スカッとした身体で自宅のすぐ東側に在る成田山明王院に向かう、クマゼミが今日を限りと鳴いている。そんな中、境内で呼吸操練、統一式運動、
積極体操を行い、後本堂に入り、不動明王に対座し、約２０分間安生打坐（天風式座禅）を行う。本堂から出ると、５?６０名の高齢者
（平均年齢７０歳位か）が集まっていた。何かな・・？と興味本位に観ているとすぐに分かった、どうもラジオ体操の集まりらしい。
間もなくすると持ち寄った携帯ラジオから元気のよいラジオ体操の歌が聞こえる。何という清清しい朝だ・・・。
ついつい自分もその集団に混じって体操を始めることとなった。第一が終わり第二に・・・、何十年振りかの第二体操である、
見よう見まねで何とか思い出しながら身体を動かした。実に爽やかな朝であった。

毎日こんな朝を過ごせばいいが、普段は中々そうも行かない。天風先生の教え、「心身統一道」は日常行修にあり。
日々の生活の中に如何に教えを組み込み、行うかにかかっているとさえ云える。私自身まだまだであるが、今後このブログの中で、
天風先生の教えの一端を系統的に書いてみようと思う。こうご期待。

After doing positive exercises, the participants enter the main hall and sit with Fudo Myoo for about 20 minutes to practice Ansei Daza (Tenpusan style zazen). When you walk out of the main hall, there are 5-60 elderly people.
The average age of the group was about 70. What’s that? As soon as I watched it with curiosity, I understood that it was a radio gymnastics group.
In no time at all, a cheerful radio gymnastics song could be heard from the portable radio I brought with me. What a crisp morning….
I decided to join the group and start gymnastics. After the first, it was the second… the second gymnastics I hadn’t done in decades.
I moved my body as I remembered it. It was indeed a refreshing morning.

It would be nice to have a morning like this every day, but it doesn’t usually work out that way. The “mind-body unification path” taught by Master Tianfeng is found in the daily practice.
It even depends on how you incorporate the teachings into your daily life and how you do it. I still have a lot of work to do, but I’m sure I’ll be using it in this blog in the future
I’m going to try to write a systematic account of one of the teachings of Master Tenpou. Please look forward to it.

我社の周囲は今建設ラッシュ。

弊社は、大阪地方・高等裁判所の東８０メートルほどの所に在るが付近は高層ビルの建設ラッシュに沸いている。裁判所と当社の間で、法務局の建替工事、多分１０階以上では、その隣で伊藤忠が２７階建高層マンション、その南側、旧検察庁跡地に弁護士会館、その東側、旧味ノ素跡地に３５階建高層マンションの工事が進められている。

そこで、負けじと我社もリニューアル工事に着手。築１６年で外回り全般に手を入れなければならなくなっており、先週から工事に入った。周囲に足場を組んで覆いをしているため、部屋はくらいは、一寸横を向くと工事の兄ちゃんの顔があるはで仕事も今ひとつ手につき難い。それにしても高層の建設工事や補修工事に従事する人はすごい。２０センチそこそこの足場を平地を歩いているかのごとく普通に動き回る。私は６階の窓際にいるが、その横で平然と仕事をしているのを観ると、何でもプロというのは凄いと思う。動きがよく仕事が速い・・。

弊社も調査のプロとして見習わなければ・・などと思わらされている。

There is a construction rush around our company.

Our company is located about 80 meters east of the Osaka District and High Court, and the area is crowded with high-rise buildings. Between the court and our company, construction is underway on the reconstruction of the Legal Affairs Bureau, maybe 10 floors or more, and next to it, Itochu is constructing a 27-story high-rise condominium, a bar association hall on the former site of the public prosecutor’s office on the south side of the building, and a 35-story high-rise condominium on the former site of Minoso on the east side of the building.

So, we started the renewal work too. It’s 16 years old and has had to do a lot of work on the exterior in general, so we started work on it last week. It’s hard to get a handle on the work because the room is covered with scaffolding, and when you look to the side, you’ll see the face of a construction worker. By the way, the people who are engaged in high-rise construction and repair work are amazing, and they move around as if they were walking on a level ground on a scaffold of about 20 centimeters. I’m on the 6th floor window sill, and when I see him working sideways, I think it’s great to be a pro at everything. He moves well and works fast…

It makes me think that we have to learn from them as a professional investigator.

先週末の土曜日は出身地（島根県隠岐郡西ノ島町、日本海に浮かぶ孤島、隠岐ノ島の島前）西ノ島の出郷者の会、「近畿国賀会」
の役員会があった。会員は１５００名程で年に１回総会と懇親会が行われる。故郷からも町長、町議、区長、
観光協会の社長など多数の参加者があり、隠岐民謡や踊り、カラオケなどそれは賑やかな会である。昨年からその会の会長をおおせつかっており、
何かと大変である。特に気を使うのが、会員の大半が私よりも年上の先輩であるということだ。多分平均年齢は６５歳を過ぎるのでは・・。ただ、
引き受けたからには皆様に納得して貰える会にしなければ・・・との思いで努力している。

で、翌日曜日は、今度は出身高校の同窓会であった。この同窓会でも役をおおせつかっており、人集めに一苦労する。
近畿地区の総会は３年に１度としているが意外と集まりが悪い。何故か昔と違って、郷里の会や同窓会などは人気薄のようである。ただ、
同級生となると話は別で、小、中、高校の別を問わず、同級生の会は非常に集まりがよい。特に私の期はそうだ・・・。一昨日の同窓会も２次会、
３次会と賑やかなことであった。

そして、昨日はロータリーの記念例会で夜遅くなり、今日は友人、東田俊康氏の出版に際してのご苦労さん会に誘われている。
とにかく余り飲めない酒を飲む機会ばかりが多く、無理をしないようにと心掛ける毎日である。

I’m working hard to make it a meeting that everyone can understand.

The next Sunday was the reunion of my high school. We have a lot of roles to play in this reunion, and we have a hard time getting people together.
The general meeting of the Kinki district is held once every three years, but the gathering is unexpectedly bad. For some reason, unlike in the past, hometown associations and reunions seem to be less popular. Just…
It’s a different story when it comes to classmates, whether they’re in elementary, middle or high school, and classmates’ associations are very well attended. Especially in my term….. The day before yesterday’s reunion was the second party.
It was the third party, and it was very lively.

Yesterday, I was late at night for a commemorative Rotary meeting, and today I was invited to a party for the publication of a book by my friend, Mr. Toshiyasu Higashida.
In any case, there are many opportunities to drink alcohol that I can’t drink much, and I try not to overdo it every day.
