台風10号は小笠原近海を北上し、お盆の初め頃に日本の南に達する予想。台風10号は、大型で、台風本体の活発な雨雲も大きく広がっていることが特徴です。

この台風10号、お盆の１４・15日ごろが近畿地方に上陸する予報。昨年の20号もそうであったが、このコースから近畿を襲う台風には恐怖を覚える。過去の室戸台風、伊勢湾台風もそうであったように思う。

備えあれば憂いなしとはいうものの、何をどのように備えたらいいものか？。ただ命を守る行動だけは早めはやめに取る必要があるであろう。

それにしても暑いね・・。7月の長雨の反動か、8月に入り急に猛暑となった感じ。地球温暖化に歯止めがかからず、北極付近の凍りも溶けつつあり、女房は何時も白クマさんのことを盛んに心配している。ところがトランプさんは経済第一で余り地球環境問題には関心を寄せていないように思う。地球規模で首脳陣が話し合って欲しいものだ。

If you’re prepared, you’ll never be afraid, but what and how should you be prepared? It is necessary to take action to save lives as soon as possible.

It’s so hot… Maybe it’s a reaction to the long rains in July, or maybe it’s a reaction to the heat in August. My wife is always worried about polar bears because global warming has not stopped and the freeze near the Arctic is melting. However, it seems to me that Mr. Trump has put the economy first and is not very concerned about global environmental issues. I wish the leaders would talk about it on a global scale….

7月２４・25日は天神祭り。弊社は大阪天満宮にほど近いところにあり、毎年のことながら、この時期は天神祭りで賑わう。会社の前の道路は陸渡御の通り道。コンチキチン、コンチキチンと鉦を鳴らしながら祭り衣装に身を包んだ老若男女が列をなし通り過ぎる。神輿も何台か行き交う。所謂、陸渡御である。そして25日、本宮の今夕は船渡御。会社の南側に流れる大川、堂島川に提灯で飾り付けをした100隻もの船がが行き交う。そしてフィナーレは華麗な花火で盛り上げる。

日本三大祭りの一つだけあって、それは盛大で華麗なものである。かといって弊社は通常通り。特に何かの催しをする訳でもなく、淡々と業務をこなすのみである。

The 24th and 25th of July is Tenjin Festival. Our company is located close to Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, which is crowded with people at this time of the year for the Tenjin Festival. The road in front of the company is the path of Rikutogyo. Men and women of all ages, dressed in festival costumes, lined up and passed by, ringing gongs that rang “konchikitin” and “konchikitin. Some mikoshi (portable shrines) also come and go. It is called “Rikutogyo”. And on the 25th, this evening at the main shrine, we went on a boat trip. A hundred boats decorated with lanterns come and go on the Dojima River, a large river that flows on the south side of the company. And the finale is enlivened by spectacular fireworks.

There is only one of the three major festivals in Japan, and it is a grand and splendid one. However, we do business as usual. I don’t do any special events, but I just do my business indifferently.

The special summer training session (shurenai) of the Tenpou Foundation-Kori-no-kai will be held at Unitopia Sasayama in Sasayama, Tamba, on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August and for three days and two nights.

The deadline for applications is July 20, but as of July 18, there is still room. Please let us know if you are interested. Members and non-members alike are welcome.

I wonder what kind of things they do in the seminar of the Tenpukai, and what kind of people gather there…? Please approach us if you are even slightly interested. I’m sure there will be a new awakening.

This year’s theme is “The attitude of the heart opens up your destiny. Yes, the heart is upstream. What you think and what you think can make or break your life.

Professor Tenpou said, “Even if you have a disease in your body, do not be sick in your heart. Don’t let your heart be troubled, even if your fate is not right. Let your heart have the strength to endure all suffering.　He said.

７月５～11日まで隠岐の島に帰っていた。天気晴朗なれど波高しで、奮励努力に至らず、釣りに出たのは２日だけ。ただし釣り果は上々。レンコ鯛を中心に100枚近く挙げることが出来た。風評によると今年はイカ（剣先イカ）が大漁とのことで、挑戦してみたかったが、夜に一人で船を出すのは恐く、今回は見送った。ただし、次回は挑戦の予定。

田舎の家から撮った日の出。家の中から魚釣りが出来るような海岸べりに建っており、朝日の上る風景は素晴らしい。

1人でとる夕食は一抹の寂しさはあるが、その日に収穫した魚や魚介類の味は格別のもの。

帰宅するとリビングの日除け避けに植えたゴーヤが実を着けていた。

He was back on the Oki Islands from July 5-11. The weather was fine but the waves were so high that I couldn’t make any effort and only went out for two days. However, the fishing results were good. I was able to cite nearly 100 pieces, mainly lingcod snapper. According to the rumor, there was a big catch of squid this year, and I wanted to try it, but I was afraid to go out on a boat alone at night, so I gave up this time. However, the next time the challenge is planned.

It’s a bit lonely to have dinner alone, but the fish and seafood harvested that day are exceptional.

気象庁発表、「命をまもる行動をとってください」。

私の記憶では、過去にこのような言葉による発表は聞いたことが無いように思う。「自分で自分の命をまもる行動をとってください。」。

実はこの発表を聞いたのは、ゴルフ帰りの車の中であった。ラジオからの音声！、エッいったい何が起こったのだ・・、一瞬びっくりした。　よく聴くと、九州方面に近づいている、集中豪雨のおそれがある為の警告発表であった。それにしても、凄い表現をつかうものだな・・・、それ程危険が迫っているという事なだろな・・・、などと思った。

実は昨年の今頃起こった大阪北部地震、その後来た近畿地方を襲った台風20号を体感しているだけに、近年の気候変動がトラウマのようになっている。今まであまり感じなかった、気候異変が怖くなってきている。

今回の集中豪雨が甚大な被害を及ぼさないよう、ただただ願うのみである。

I don’t think I’ve ever heard such a verbal announcement in the past as I recall. Please take action to protect your own life. .

It was actually in the car on the way home from golf that I heard this announcement. Audio from the radio! What in the world had just happened?　If you listen carefully, it was a warning that there is a fear of torrential rain approaching the Kyushu area. It’s a great way to put it…I guess it means the danger is imminent…etc…I thought.

In fact, the recent climate change has been a traumatic experience for me, having experienced the Osaka North earthquake that occurred around this time last year, and then Typhoon No. 20 that hit the Kinki region. I’m starting to get scared of climate anomalies, which I haven’t felt much before.

I can only hope that this torrential downpour will not cause any serious damage.
