ホッと一息
ホッと一息。今期１年間会長職を仰せつかっていた船場ロータリークラブの最終例会を今日6月24日、先ほど終えることが出来た。特に大した事をしたわけではないが、小生にとって重責であったことは間違いない。その証拠に、今は何とも言えない安堵感である。後は今日の夜に開催する、今期の理事役員及び各委員長に対するご苦労様会だけである。6月末日まで任期はあるが、実質的には終わったも同然。
「やった、やったー！」という感じ。
Sigh of relief. The last regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Funaba, where I have been serving as president for one year, was just finished today, June 24. It wasn’t a particularly big deal, but it was definitely a heavy responsibility for me. The evidence of this is an indescribable sense of relief at the moment. The only thing left to do is to hold a meeting this evening to thank the board members and committee chairmen for their hard work this term, which will last until the end of June, but it’s practically over.
