続快気祝
またまた快気祝。昨年11月に幼馴染の快気祝いをしたところであるが、又また同級生の快気祝が行われた。
どうもこの歳になると、祝い事と云うと「快気祝」くらいしか無いのかな・・・・。何にしても幼馴染の同級生が何名か集まると云うのは楽しいものである。
今回は、先週末の土日、宍道湖の畔にある玉造温泉で開かれた。前回同様、妻と同級生と３人で、土曜の朝から一路、島根へと走った。
中国道から米子自動車道に入ったが走りはスムーズ、土曜と云うのに渋滞ひとつ無く、快調そのものであった。ところが、蒜山高原に入るや周り一帯雪景色

岡山と島根の県境に在る長い長いトンネルに入る手前。もちろん大山も真っ白であろうが、雲が掛かっていて観ることは出来なかった。
この後、トンネルを越えると横殴りの雪が降ってきて、もしやチェーンが・・・と心配したくらい。 山陰の厳しさを痛感した。
それでも無事「松江」着。前々から一度乗ってみたいと思っていた、松江城のお堀端を巡る屋形船。船内にはコタツが設置され、極めてノンビリとしたムードの観光めぐりを楽しむことができた。

お堀の水位は殆ど変わらないらしい（調整するため）が、それにしても、と云った感じ。多分５０センチは無いかも。
隠岐では超有名な日赤病院。何人もの人が救急ヘリで運ばれ、此処で命拾い・・・。

Another happy-go-lucky celebration. I had just celebrated my childhood friend’s recovery in November last year, and my classmate’s recovery celebration was held again.
When I get to this age, the only thing I can think of to celebrate is “Happy Birthday”…. At any rate, it was fun to have some of my childhood friends and classmates get together.
This time it was held last weekend, Saturday and Sunday, at Tamatsukuri Onsen on the shores of Lake Shinji. Like last time, my wife and my classmate and I drove to Shimane on Saturday morning.
We entered the Yonago Expressway from the Chugoku Expressway, and the ride was smooth. However, as soon as the Hiruzen Highlands are entered, the whole area is covered with snow.

Just before entering the long, long tunnel that exists on the border between Okayama and Shimane prefectures. Of course, Mt. Daisen may have been completely white, but I couldn’t see it because of the cloud cover.

After this, when we crossed the tunnel, it was snowing so hard that I was worried about the chain… I was acutely aware of the harshness of the San’in region.
Still, we arrived at Matsue safely. I’ve been wanting to take a ride on a houseboat that goes around the edge of the moat of Matsue Castle for a long time. There was a kotatsu in the ship, and we could enjoy the sightseeing tour in an extremely relaxed mood.

The water level in the moat is almost the same (to adjust it), but it was still a bit of a surprise. Maybe not 50 centimeters.
It is a very famous hospital in Oki, Japan. A number of people were taken by ambulance helicopter and saved their lives here….

This is a flowering plant at the edge of the moat. It suits Matsue well.
