会長日記2008/05/22

イベント

何時もの事ながら５月後半から６月に掛けては各種のイベントが重なり、胃は重く、財布は軽く、頭は春霞の如く、と相成り、
何ともトホホ・・と云うのが例年の事である。早、今年もその例に漏れず、今週は、月曜が所属する船場ロータリーの２０周年記念例会。
火曜は東京で全国調査業協同組合の総会及び懇親会と重なり、来週は大阪で２つ小イベントがあり、６月は自分が会長、
副会長を務める協会の総会が２つ待ち構えている。その準備を思うと、何とも・・・と言いたくなるが、何事も思い方考え方。
そう言えば天風先生のお言葉にこう言うのがあった、「宇宙の昭々たる摂理は、
万象は常に流転す、さすれば今日の禍いも、やがて明日の幸いを瑞祥するの兆し足らん。さなぎだにただ一心に心の力を信念精進せば・・・・・・
」（自己陶冶の一節）。

それにしても船場ロータリーの２０周年記念式典は中々であった。
会場は何時もの日航ホテル。参加者は来賓、会員家族、ＯＢ会員等総勢１７０名。夕方５時から記念式典、６時半から９時まで祝宴。
ディナーショーは北野タダオ＆ジャズオーケストラ、
ボーカル加藤ヒロユキと云う知る人ぞ知る豪華メンバーであった。
令婦人を隣に往年のジャズを聴きながら飲むワインは最高であった。ただ、頭は春霞の如くで、目は万象を流転していた。

と試みたが撮ったはずの写真が撮れていない。　　残念！！。　という事は、東京の総会風景も撮れていない。

As usual in the latter half of May and June, there are a lot of events going on, and my stomach is heavy, my wallet is light, and my head is like a spring haze.
It’s the same as every year. This week is the 20th anniversary meeting of Funaba Rotary, to which I belong on Monday.
I have two small events in Osaka next week, and I am the president and I am the president in June.
Two general meetings of the association, where he serves as vice president, are awaited. It’s tempting to say, “Well, I don’t know…” when I think of the preparation, but everything is the way you think, the way you think.

The Funaba Rotary’s 20th anniversary celebration was quite an event.
The venue was the usual JAL Hotel. The total number of participants was 170, including guests, members’ families and alumni. Memorial ceremony at 5:00 p.m. and banquet from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
The dinner show was held by Tadao Kitano and the Jazz Orchestra.
The vocalist, Hiroyuki Kato, was a gorgeous member of the band.
It was great to drink wine while listening to the jazz of yesteryear with the lady lady next to me. However, his head was like a spring haze and his eyes were tumbling through the universe.

調査録2008/05/14

採用調査（雇用調査）

採用調査の被調査人。年齢５３歳で従業員５０名ほどの中小企業の元常務取締役。
履歴書を見る限りでは中々の人材である。

調査結果。申告の履歴に間違いなく仕事もそこそこにできる。
家族仲も円満な様子で近隣者にも好感を持たれている。人柄は穏やかで協調性もあり、考え方もノーマル。「総じて問題なし」の人物である。

そこで調査員は報告書を纏めようとするが何故か筆が進まないという。報告納期は既に来ている。営業担当は少しイライラ気味。
「どないしたん・・・、何か問題あるのん」「イヤ特に・・・ただチョット」、よくよく聞いてみると、前職２社共に、
仕事ぶりや人柄などの質問には特に躊躇すること無く答えてくれ、特に問題は無かったと云う。ところが退職理由、
原因について質問すると今ひとつ歯切れが悪くハッキリしなかったとのこと。それがひかかって中々ペン（実際はキーボード）
が進まないとのこと。

気になった営業マン。依頼主に連絡し納期を少し延ばしてもらう事にした。
調査員にその旨を伝え納得行くまで調査を進めるようにと指示。

担当調査員はその事を調査部長に相談。部長曰く、「現場へ足を運べ・・・、何かあるに決まっとる、従業員にかまをかけて・・・」。

早速現場に向かい、貴社した調査員、「判りました・・。やぱり何かひかかったら振り出しに帰ることですね」、「で、どうやった・・・
」、「セクハラ男ですは。どうも癖のようですネ、２社ともそれがバレて辞職させられてましてん」。　　レポートの早いこと、はやいこと。

今日の出来事、一件落着。

Respondent of a recruitment survey. He is 53 years old and a former managing director of a small business with about 50 employees.
As far as his resume goes, he’s a decent hire.

Findings. You can definitely do the job well on your return history.
The family seems to be on good terms with the neighbors. His personality is calm and cooperative and his thinking is normal. He’s an “all-around okay” person.

So, the investigator tries to compile the report, but for some reason he can’t finish it. The reporting deadline has already come. The salesperson was a little irritated.
What’s the matter with you?” “I don’t have any problem.
He answered my questions about his work ethic and personality without any hesitation, and I had no particular problems. But the reason for leaving.
When I asked him about the cause, he said he was too stubborn to clarify. The pen (actually, the keyboard) got stuck in the middle of it.

It is a sexual harassment man. It seems to be a habit, and both companies were forced to resign when they found out about it.　　The faster the report, the faster it is.

家庭菜園

ゴールデンウイーク。今年は暦通り。何時もだと何処か小旅行に・・と云うところだが、
今年は転居して間がないと云う事もあって自宅で過ごす事とした。１日は「角好集会」
という２０年近く続いているゴルフコンペに参加したが後の３日は全くの自宅。

前々から考えていた菜園つくりに着手した。自宅の庭の一部に菜園をつくるのが夢であったが、
今度の家は何とかそのスペースが確保できそう。そこで早速、近くのホームセンターに出かけ農機具と土壌改良剤を購入、
鍬とスコップを片手にねじり鉢巻で開墾をはじめた。「開墾とは大げさな・・」と言われそうだが、
踏み固められた庭を畑にするのはまさに開墾であった。最初は、鍬で十分と勢いよく振り上げたが全く歯がたたない、
そこでスコップに持ち替え格闘すること半日、何とか１坪半程を開墾に成功した。

後は鍬で何回か土を掘り返す。消石灰や土壌改良剤を混ぜては掘り返すを繰り返し、畝を３つ作って一様完成とした。
たった１坪半ほどの畑であるが足腰肩腕はパンパン。お百姓さんの苦労やいかに・・・身にしみて感じたゴールデンウイークであった。

１週間ほど寝かせ、来週くらいにはいよいよ種植えである。どうなる事やら・・・、失敗は覚悟の上、とにかくやってみようと思う。
何とも楽しみである・・・。

Golden Week. As per the calendar this year. Usually, I’d say we should take a short trip somewhere.
The first day of the meeting was “Kakuyoshi Gathering”.
I participated in a golf competition that has been going on for almost 20 years, but I didn’t play at home for the next three days.

I started to make a vegetable garden, which I had been thinking about for a long time. It was his dream to create a vegetable garden in a part of his home garden, but
The next house seems to have managed to get that space. So, I went out to a nearby home center and bought some farm equipment and soil conditioner.
With a hoe and a shovel in one hand and a headband in the other, he began to cultivate the land. You might say, “Cultivation is an exaggeration…
To turn a trampled garden into a field was indeed cultivation. At first, I swung up vigorously enough to hoe, but it didn’t hit me at all.
After half a day of wrestling with a shovel, we succeeded in cultivating about 1.5 square meters of land.

All that’s left is to dig the dirt back a few times with a hoe. After mixing with slaked lime and soil conditioner and digging repeatedly, three ridges were made to complete the uniformity.
It is only a field of about 1.5 square meters, but the legs, shoulders, and arms are full. It was the Golden Week that I felt the hardships of the farmers.

I let them sleep for about a week and finally plant the seeds next week or so. I don’t know what’s going to happen…but I’m prepared to fail, so I’m going to try anyway.
It’s a lot of fun…..

会長日記2008/04/28

関西隠岐人会（隠岐の国のひろば）

昨日、関西隠岐人会第６回総会が太閤園の本館３階で大々的に開催された。
参加者３１０名、隠岐島出身の関西在住者が一堂に会し、楽しく一日遊ぼうと云う会である。こうした郷土会は、
田舎であれば有るほど集まりがよく結束も固い。島国根性が故かも知れないが、
そうした意味では御他聞に漏れず隠岐の結束は中々で参加率も良い。ただ、何故か平均年齢は６０歳を遥かに超え、
老人会に見間違うのではと少し心配するくらいである。

演芸の出し物は、民謡ロック（おき民謡をロック調にアレンジしての演奏）、
にわか（その場の思い付きで寸劇をやる。突然に遣るので「にわか」という）、
尺八と津軽三味線（石川氏と阿部兄弟、津軽三味線で優勝、準優勝に輝いた兄弟）、
隠岐民謡とキンニャモニャなど盛り沢山で中々の盛り上がりがあった。

Yesterday, the sixth general meeting of the Kansai Okijin Association was held on the third floor of the main building at Taikooen.
There were 310 participants, all of whom are from Oki Island and live in the Kansai region, who came together to enjoy a day of fun. Such a hometown association is a
The more country there is, the better the group is and the stronger the unity is. Maybe it’s the island nationality, but…
In such a sense, the unity of the Oki is not leaked, and the participation rate is also good. However, for some reason, the average age is much older than 60.
I was even a little worried that I might be mistaken for an old people’s group.

Performances include minyo-rock (Okinawan folk songs arranged in a rock style) and
Niwaka (I’ll do a skit based on an idea on the spot. (It’s called “haniwa” because it’s used suddenly),
Shakuhachi and Tsugaru shamisen (Mr. Ishikawa and the Abe brothers, who won first and second place in Tsugaru shamisen)
There was a lot of excitement, such as Oki folk songs and Kinya Monya.

隠岐國観光大使

３年前の今頃、突然郷里の隠岐から「隠岐國観光大使」を命じられた。以来、観光大使として「隠岐観光振興の為に寝食を忘れ奔走した」と云いたい所だが、正直大使らしい事は殆どしてなく、せいぜい友人知人に故郷自慢をして、得点つきの観光大使の名詞を配るくらいの事しかできていない。
そこで今日は、観光大使らしく、この世界的に広く知られた著名人ブログ「調査会社の社長ブログ」で、わが故郷「隠岐ノ島」を紹介してみたいと思う。

隠岐ノ島出身ではあるが歴史、名所・旧跡など知らないことだらけ。観光大使など務まる訳もないが郷里が期待しているのは一人でも多くの観光客誘致であろう。その為には自ら隠岐ノ島出身を機会あるごとに口にし、「まっちゃん」の郷里に一回行って見ようか・・・　、そんな気分にさせる事なのかな・・、などと考えている。
で、今度の日曜日は関西隠岐人会の総会である。太閤園のメイン会場（３F)で、１２時から１５時３０分迄。今のところ参加予定者３１０名。世話役のご苦労や並大抵ではない。小生、この会の副会長の大役をおおせつかっているが皆の足を引っ張らないようつとめるのが関の山である。
「隠岐の島出身者諸兄へ告ぐ、４月２７日は万難をはいし太閤園へ・・・ 」

Three years ago at this time, I was suddenly ordered by my hometown, Oki, to become an “Oki Tourism Ambassador”. Since then, I would like to say that I have worked hard to promote Oki tourism as a tourism ambassador, but to be honest, I have done very little to be an ambassador, except boasting about my hometown to my friends and acquaintances and handing out the noun “tourism ambassador” with a score.
So today, in the spirit of a tourism ambassador, I would like to introduce my hometown, Oki-no-jima Island, in the blog of a world-renowned research company president.

Although I’m from Oki-no-jima, there’s a lot I don’t know about history, famous places, and historic sites. There is no reason to be a tourism ambassador, but what my hometown is hoping for is to attract as many tourists as possible. In order to do so, I would like to mention that I am from Oki-no-shima every chance I get, and I would like to visit “Machan’s” hometown once.
So this Sunday is the general meeting of the Kansai Okijin Association. It will be held from 12:00 to 15:30 at the main hall (3rd floor) of Taikooen. So far, 310 people are expected to participate. The caretakers are hard work and extraordinary. I have a big job as the vice-president of this association, and it is a big task to make sure that I don’t drag everyone’s feet.
