忘年会
早や忘年会シーズン。
毎年の事であるが12月に入るか入らないかで忘年会の予定がめじろ押しに入る。仕事がめじろ押しなら云うことないが、それはサッパリ。
社内は静かなもので電話も掛からない。掛からなければ掛ければいいが、その元気もないのか、ただパソコンを叩く音のみが侘びしく聞こえる。
そこで、こんな年は忘れてしまえと早々に忘年会。先週末に早や今年一番の忘年会があった。
それも同郷の氏の集まりである国賀会（日本海に浮かぶ孤島、隠岐ノ島の出身者の会）の役員忘年会。
打ち合わせを兼ねお昼12時に始まったが、宴は2次会3次会と延々と続き、結局帰宅は11時30分。
平均年齢は６０歳を遥かに超えているのでは・・と思えるが、皆の元気なこと、驚くばかりである。特に今年は、
体調を崩した人が多かった割りに、年末には皆がすっかり元気になったと云う事もあり、気分が良い。しかも、気の置けない同郷の氏の集まり。
何とも楽しい忘年会の口開けであった。
そのメンバーの中に、このブログを読んでくれている人が居た。読んでくれるだけで、この上ない喜びであるが、その御人、
何んとブログの一部を印刷し持参してくれていた。「松谷さん、
このブログで私随分助けられたのよ・・」と見せてくれたのが、
天風会の記事。私が天風会の講師養成講座で心身統一法のレポートを転載したものであった。
「本当に取り越し苦労なんて・・・・・、全くこの通りよネ」、「実は私、
取りこし苦労の天才だったのよ」、「このブログで大分助けられた、有難う・・・」とお礼まで言われた。
捨てる神あれば拾う神あり、こんな気儘なブログで感謝されるなんて、本当に感謝感謝であった。
で、今日も6時半からまた忘年会。今日のメンバーはゴルフ仇の集まりである。多分強烈な口の叩き合いが待っているはず。
It’s the end-of-year party season.
As is the case every year, our plans for the year-end party are pushed to the brink by the arrival of December or not. If you’re in a rush to get to work, don’t say anything, but I’m not so sure.
It’s a quiet place in the company and there are no phone calls. If it doesn’t work, I’ll call, but I hear only the sound of tapping on the computer, which sounds wretched.
So, we had a year-end party early to forget about such a year. Last weekend, we had the biggest year-end party of the year.
It was also a year-end party for the officers of the Kokugai-kai (a group of people from Oki-no-shima, an isolated island in the Sea of Japan), which is a gathering of the same hometown.
It started at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting, but the party went on and on with the second and third parties, and it was 11:30 p.m. when we got home.
It seems that the average age is far more than 60 years old, but I am amazed at how energetic everyone is. Especially this year.
Although many of us were sick, we were feeling good because everyone seemed to be in good spirits at the end of the year. Moreover, it is a gathering of the clan of the same hometown that is not easy to put down.
It was a very pleasant opening of the year-end party.
One of those members was the one who reads this blog. It gives me the greatest pleasure to read it to you, but that man…

If there is a God who discards it, there is a God who picks it up. I was really grateful to be thanked by such an unwilling blog.
So, we had a year-end party again today from 6:30am. Today’s members are a gathering of golf avengers. Maybe there will be some intense mouth-banging waiting for them.
