４月２日より新年度の業務開始。２３年度決算は未確定ながら、売上は前期比数％の増、ところが肝心の利益は減。と云う事は、原価、若しくは諸経費が売上の伸び以上に増大したと云うこと・・・。

　一般的には、調査の仕事って、売上即粗利と捉えられている様ですが、あにはからんや、意外と原価が掛かるのです。

　近年は情報過多時代と云うか、あらゆる情報がこれでもかと云うくらいに氾濫している。ところが、祖情報も多く、弊社のような情報を得てそれを吟味し、正確な情報を発信する事を業とする会社に取って、下手な情報をつかまされ、それを信じてしまうと命とりに成る。従って、得た情報の正否には、慎重に慎重を重ね吟味しなければならない。その為の費用がバカにならないのである。

　卒業証明書偽造、運転免許書偽造、在職証明書偽造など各種証明書の偽造が技術的に可能な時代に成ったにも関わらず、人の身分を公的に証明する戸籍も住民票も第三者取得は完全に蓋をされ、偽造か否かを検証する手段さえなくなって来ている。

　そんな中で、情報の正否を吟味するには、従来の２倍も３倍ものお金がかかる様になっており、ある意味、労せずして得られる情報は増えてはいるが、その情報に翻弄され、何が本物か見分けるのが非常に難しくなっている。

　そういえば、最近は情報だけでなく、人間も本物かどうか、見分けが非常に難しく成っている。

　政治家を始め、マスコミ界で活躍する人の多くに、本物か否か疑いたくなる様な人が多く見受けられる。「信念」無く、ただ口先だけで綺麗ごとを並べる人が増えている。

　本物を見分ける目、今期は今まで以上に此処に焦点を絞って、業務に邁進しようと思う。そして自らも本物を志し、修養に励むことにしよう・・・・。

　「口だけでなくガンバレよ・・・」　。　自分を自分で客観視し、自分に確りと言い聞かせ、自分を客観的に見つめて行こうと思う。　意外と面白いかも・・・。

However, for a company like ours, whose business is to obtain information, examine it, and send out accurate information, it can be fatal if you are given inferior information and believe it. Therefore, we must carefully and cautiously scrutinize the right or wrong information we have obtained. The cost of doing so is not insignificant.

In spite of the fact that it is now technically possible to forge various certificates such as forged graduation certificates, forged driver’s licenses, forged certificates of employment, etc., it is no longer even possible to verify whether a person has been forged or not by obtaining a third party’s family register or certificate of residence, which officially prove a person’s identity.

Under such circumstances, it is now costing twice or three times as much money as before to examine the right or wrong information. In a sense, the information that can be obtained without much effort is increasing, but it is becoming very difficult to distinguish what is real from what is not.

Come to think of it, not only information but also human beings have become very difficult to distinguish whether they are real or not these days.

There are many people who are active in the mass media, including politicians, who make me doubt whether they are real or not. There are more and more people who don’t have any “beliefs” and just talk neatly about it.

The eyes to discern the real thing, this term I’ll focus on this more than ever, and push forward with my business. And I will try to cultivate myself as a real person….

Don’t just say it…　I’m going to look at myself objectively, and I’m going to assure myself that I’m going to look at myself objectively.　It might be surprisingly interesting…

先週月曜から金曜まで５日間、シンガポールに行って来た。仕事では無いがまったくの遊びでもない。

所属する船場ロータリーとシンガポールロータリーが１０数年前から姉妹提携をしており、親交を深める意味もあって、お互いたまに訪問し合うことにしている。特に今期はシンガポールが東日本大震災のボランティアで東北に来てくれたと云う事もあり、自然と表敬訪問の機運が高まり、実施となった。

総勢１８名での表敬訪問。着いた翌日には地上６２階建ての超高層ビル６１階で　ウエルカムパーティーが開催されたが、６１階は流石に高い。シンガポール全土が見えると云った感じで感動した。

翌日の例会場は打って変わって、１８００年代に建築されたと云う重厚な建物、これはこれでまた素晴らしく、現地３泊４日の短い旅であったが、ゴルフ、ショッピング、観光、表敬訪問と充実した日を過ごすことが出来た。

で、旅行と云えば写真・・・と云う事であるが、何時もの如く入れたつもりが入れてなく、携帯は着いた途端に電池切れ、従って写真一枚撮る事無く、確りと目に焼きつけ無事帰国と相成った。

I went to Singapore for five days from Monday to Friday last week. It’s not work, but it’s not play at all.

The Rotary of Semba and the Rotary of Singapore, which I belong to, have had a sisterhood for more than 10 years, and we visit each other occasionally to deepen our friendship. In particular, Singapore came to Tohoku this year as a volunteer after the Great East Japan Earthquake, which naturally increased the momentum of the courtesy visit and made it happen.

A total of 18 people paid a courtesy call. The day after we arrived, a welcome party was held on the 61st floor of a 62-story skyscraper, but the 61st floor is quite tall. I was so impressed that I could see the whole of Singapore.

The next day’s meeting place was a different kind of building, which was built in the 1800’s. It was very nice as well, and although it was a short trip of three nights and four days, I could spend a good day with golf, shopping, sightseeing, and a courtesy call.

I didn’t put in my cell phone, but the battery ran out as soon as I got there. Therefore, I didn’t take a single photo, but I burnt it in my eyes and returned to Japan safely.

今週４日から大相撲大阪場所。昨年は八百長問題で流れたため、２年ぶりの大阪場所である。

大相撲観戦など今までは余り関心が無かったが、「隠岐の海」の活躍で一気に熱をおび、この時期我が家の夕食は、勝った負けたで大賑わいである。そんな事から、親戚のお婆さんに声を掛け、桟敷席での大相撲観戦とシャレてみた。

大相撲は朝８時半から取り組みがあると言うが中入りは４時過ぎ、従って、少し早めの３時頃に出かけ、十両の土俵入りからじっくりと観戦することが出来た。

The Osaka sumo tournament starts on the 4th this week. This is the first time in two years that the Osaka tournament has been held since last year, when it was overshadowed by the 8-hyang issue.

I hadn’t paid much attention to watching sumo tournaments until now, but the activities of the “Oki Sea” have turned up the heat at once, and at this time of year, our family dinners are very busy with wins and losses. So, I asked an old lady who was a relative of mine to watch the sumo tournament on the stage.

They say the sumo tournament starts at 8:30 a.m., but the middle entry is after 4:00 a.m. So I went out a little early, around 3:00 a.m., to watch the Juryou ring-entering.

A walk on the sea in the Oki Islands and win by debit on the day.

　今年の冬は結構厳しく、好きなゴルフも遠のき気味であったが、今週は結構暖かかった。ただ生憎の雨で日・月・火とつぶれ今日やっと陽の目を観た。

　朝何時もの様に天風体操（呼吸繰連、統一式運動、積極体操）をしているとプーンと梅花の香りが漂ってきた・・・。　　何と清清しい朝だろう・・・。

　是非ともこの香りを、このブログを覗いてくれる貴方に届けたくて・・・・

My garden smells like spring, it’s fun, it’s fun, it’s fun…♪

The winter has been pretty tough this year and my favorite golf has been a bit of a distant memory, but it was pretty warm this week. It was raining on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, but we finally saw the light today.

When I was doing the Heavenly Wind Gymnastics (Yobakuren, Unified Exercise, Positive Gymnastics) as usual in the morning, the smell of plum blossoms came in the air….　　What a clear morning….

先週末、３日の土曜日、NPO法人JRP（ジャパンリーガルパートナーズ）から講演依頼があり、「調査事務所の裏側」と題して１時間３０分程、喋ってきた。

　JRPと云うのは、士業の方の勉強会で、弁護士、司法書士、弁理士、社会保険労務士、不動産鑑定士、行政書士、税理士さんが大半で、約３０名の参加であった。士業の中でも若手中心の勉強会で、大半が３０から４０才台。土曜日と云う事もあり、皆ラフな姿で参加しており、勝手に抱いていたイメージとは随分違い、少し戸惑いを感じたが、私の前に帝国データバンクさんの「信用調査の裏側」と題した話しがあり、何となく雰囲気はつかめたので、可也リラックスした気持ちで話すことが出来た。

　演題は一方的にJRPの代表者が決めたもの。この代表者は、何でも裏側から観るのが好きらしく、前半も後半も「裏側」と題したものであったが、私は特に裏の話しをしようと思った訳ではない。でも、探偵と云えば裏家業と云うイメージが強い。しかも、「探偵の裏側」と題してであるから、参加者は興味深深と言った感じがプンプンとしていた。

　そこに何の変哲もない極ごく平凡なおっちゃんが出てきたので、多分、「何だ・・・」と云うイメージであったのでは？。でも、結構皆が真剣に聞いてくれていて、非常に話し易く、ついつい調子に乗ってしまいレジュメから大きく脱線することもあったが、結構思っている事が話せ、自分なりに満足のいくものとなった。

Last weekend, on Saturday the 3rd, I was asked to give a lecture by the non-profit organization Japan Legal Partners (JRP), and I gave a talk for about an hour and a half on the subject of “The Other Side of an Investigative Office”.

The JRP is a study group for people in the legal profession, with about 30 participants, mostly lawyers, judicial scriveners, patent attorneys, social insurance workers, real estate appraisers, administrative scriveners, and tax accountants. Most of the participants are in their 30s and 40s. It was a Saturday, so everyone was participating in the event in a rough appearance, which was quite different from the image I had had of myself, and I felt a little puzzled.

The subject matter was unilaterally decided by the representatives of JRP. This representative seems to like to watch everything from the other side, and both the first half and the second half were titled “the other side”, but I didn’t particularly want to talk about the other side. However, when people think of a detective, they have a strong image of a backroom business. Moreover, since it was titled “The other side of the detective,” the participants were very interested in it.

I think it was the image that I was thinking “What the heck…” because an ordinary and ordinary guy came out. However, everyone listened to me seriously and it was very easy to talk, and I sometimes got carried away and went off on a tangent from my resume, but I was able to talk about what I was thinking and was satisfied in my own way.
